With the Guide app, residents and visitors discover places based on their interests. With Guide Portail, your teams use anonymous data from the app to better understand how it is used and inform how local places are promoted.
Informative content to read or listen to as you discover places that match your interests. Users can generate a route for a walk or cycle ride based on their available time, preferred distance and interests. Guide and the local authority can also prepare routes to showcase local places.
Guide Portail helps local authorities and tourist offices understand Guide users’ interests and the places they discover. Using anonymous data from the app, it suggests actions to adapt the local tourism offer. For example: identify a less-explored neighbourhood, suggest a route through it, then observe how that route is used in Guide. Your teams review these suggestions and adapt them using their local knowledge.

Pilot Cities Programme
The Pilot Cities Programme lets a local authority or tourist office test the Guide app and Guide Portail in its area. Your teams first try the tools with a small group of testers, then decide whether to continue or stop before a public trial. Guide prepares and supports the programme.
Together, we define the objectives, places and each team’s contribution. There is no charge for this stage.

After the internal trial, your local authority decides whether to continue or stop before any public trial.
The trial opens to residents and visitors. It is paid, under the terms agreed with your local authority.

Anonymous data and data protection
Guide Portail uses anonymous data from the app. Teams can learn how people explore without identifying individual users. Preparing the programme includes defining how data will be processed in relation to GDPR requirements.
